Information you provide
Listing and correction forms may collect a business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, category, and message. Advertising records may include campaign details, dates, payment status, and a payment reference. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and should not be stored in TownGuide.
Usage and advertising measurement
We may record page and business interactions, QR scans, advertising impressions and clicks, general device information, referrer, user agent, timestamps, and limited technical metadata. We use these records to operate the guide, measure placements, prevent abuse, and prepare aggregate reports. We do not request precise GPS location or require visitor accounts.
Service providers
The guide uses hosting, database, and operational providers such as Netlify and Supabase. If enabled, Stripe processes payments and provides payment links. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Favorites and cookies
Favorites are stored in your browser's local storage and are not connected to a visitor identity. The guide does not intentionally add third-party behavioral advertising trackers. Essential hosting or security technologies may still be used.
Retention and choices
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for operations, reporting, legal obligations, security, and dispute handling. You may request a correction or ask about information submitted through the contact page.
